Fauquier Juneteenth Vault
Freedom Has a Voice — Stories Untold Becoming History
In partnership with the Afro-American Historical Association (AAHA), Fauquier Juneteenth Inc. is proud to launch the Celebrating 250 Time Vault — a recorded archive of voices from across Fauquier County sharing their stories in their own words and opportunity to share with the public on Juneteenth at Eva Walker Park.
This initiative builds upon AAHA’s extensive research and StoryMap documenting African American communities established during the Reconstruction era in Fauquier County. We seek to honor that foundation by preserving the living voices and legacies that continue to shape our county today.
